Real Estate Register

The Real Estate Register is a public multipurpose technical database. The register contains data which can be further interpreted and used for various purposes. Data can serve as a basic information about existing situation, as a basis for statistical analyses, for spatial planning processes, as a basis for real estate valuation and real estate taxation purposes, etc.

Statement

The Real Estate Register is a public, technical database of real estates and includes technical information about all real estates. Real estate is a part of the earth's surface (that is measured) along with all its components. In everyday life the real estate most often appears as a land or land with a building or a building or part of the building. All parts of the real estate (land and building parts) have the same ownership. The Real Estate Register contains data about a land registered in the Land Cadastre (parcels), buildings and building parts registered in Building Cadastre, owners and all other real estates that are not yet registered in the Land Cadastre and Building Cadastre. For the individual real estate other data is collected, such as: location and size, land cover, land use, technical information about building and building parts (age, equipment, construction method, usable area, number of rooms, ...), generalized market value , etc.

Sources: Acquisition from other records (Building Cadastre, Land Cadastre, Central Register of Inhabitants, Register of Administrative Units, local communities, etc). The data is maintained based on self-declaration by the owner or spatial inventory methods.

The real estate data is being used for determination of generalized market value of real estate. The use of Real Estate Register data for other purposes in conjunction with other real estate data is performed by the data users themselves.

The register is maintained permanently through automatic interfaces from the Building Cadastre and Land Cadastre and through questionnaires.

The database is maintained in national ETRS coordinate system D96/TM.
