Building Cadastre

Building Cadastre is an official national database of buildings. Building Cadastre includes up-to-date information on buildings and parts of buildings. It includes the collection of documentation and information necessary for historical track changes of buildings. The collection of documentation (in analogue and digital form) includes files and other documents, upon which buildings were officially registered. Basic informations kept in the Building Cadastre are: identification number, owner, position, size, actual use, apartment number. The relation to Register of Spatial Units and house numbers is also provided. The Building Cadastre is technically centralized and is connected with other national systems: Land Cadastre, Register of Spatial Units, Land Registry. The registration of building in Building Cadastre is needed prior to registration of its ownership in the Land Registry.

Statement: The sources for establishment were: photogrammetric capture, field survey, takeover from other records. Positioning accuracy depends on the method of capturing coordinates: field survey: 0-12 cm, photogrammetric capture: 0-50 cm, from basic topographic map (TTN): 0-150 cm, from graphical Land Cadastre data: above 150 cm, field survey without grid connection: above 150 cm, assessment of the building: 0-12 cm, data establishment from Register of Spatial Units (RPE): 0-150 cm. Daily maintenance is carried out through individual maintenance of Building Cadastre based on customer reports or reclamation or through official duty. Building Cadastre is being established in line with Real-Estate Recording Act. Building Cadastre also includes building parts which are established in line with the Act of Determing Special Conditions for Registering the Ownership of Individual Parts of Buildings with the Land Register. The database is being lead in national ETRS coordinate system D96/TM.
