Consolidated Cadastre of Public Infrastructure

Consolidated Cadastre of Public Infrastructure is an official register of public utilities and infrastructure objects (road network, railway network, water supply network, sewage network, electricity network, telecommunications) and broadband network termination points of public telecommunication networks. For each object, information about its type, location, identification number and information about infrastructure owner are included in the cadastre. The identification number, location data, data on minimum capacity of the termination point and of its ownership are managed for the broadband network termination points. All utility companies - managers of the public infrastructure and owners of the network termination points are required to provide data for the register. Information from the Consolidated Cadastre of Public Infrastructure is available to the public.

The basic goal of the establishment of the consolidated Cadastre of Public Infrastructure is to provide information about location of public infrastructure for the whole country, especially for the spatial planning purposes, for the prevention of unnecessary damage on the infrastructure and for more economical management of the public infrastructure.

Source: Utility cadastres run by local communities, ministries or competent utility companies. Sources for location data are: geodetic measurements, analog geodetic plans (criteria 1: 500, 1: 1000, 1: 2880, 1: 5000, 1: 10000 or less), building permit documentation, documentation for project implementations, photogrammetric capturing with the help of stereo images, images of analytical shading, DOF 5, GPS, cartographic databases of 1: 25000 or less, etc. The positional accuracy in the Consolidated Cadastre of Public Infrastructure is kept for each object separately and is determined by the code list. All objects are described in the exchange format. The collection of the data depends to a large extent on operators (municipalities, competent ministries, network termination points owners, etc.), and the owners of telecommunications networks, for which legislation requires the provision of data to Consolidated Cadastre of Public Infrastructure. The logical consistency of an individual object is controlled at import of the data and is estimated to be 99%.

The data set covers the entire country. The completeness is different in relation to each type of public infrastructure.
