Območne enote Direkcije RS za vode

Za učinkovitejše izvajanje nalog je Direkcija RS za vode regionalno organizirana, tvorijo jo glavna enota v Ljubljani in osem sektorjev območij za povodja Mure, Drave, zgornje, srednje in spodnje Save ter povodji Soče in jadranskih rek z morjem.

Območja sovpadajo z delitvijo območja Slovenije na posamezna območja za izvajanje državnih gospodarskih javnih služb na področju urejanja voda po Uredbi o načinu izvajanja obveznih državnih gospodarskih javnih služb na področju urejanja voda in o koncesijah teh javnih služb (Uradni list RS, št. 109/10 in spr.)
